Gardening Services

Detailed below are some general descriptions of services.  You do not have to know what exactly you want before contacting me.  Each client will have a customized plan for their garden spaces based on their desires and expectations as we talk more about your goals.  My main objective is to help you look forward to seeing your outdoor spaces, whether that's through a window, pulling in the driveway, or hanging out on the patio. Garden Maintenance

Reclaim Garden Spaces

Refresh Tired Gardens

Whether you schedule regular, weekly service or just need a 1x sprucing up of current garden spaces, basic weeding and trimming can go a long way in improving the look of your space.  Using hand tools, I quickly and quietly maintain your garden spaces so all you have to do is look at them to enjoy.  

"It just got away from us!" is a common sentiment. It happens for a multitude of reasons.  I can help take back overgrown and weed ridden beds, and get them to a manageable state. I can then hand the reigns back over to you or continue to care for your gardens.

Aesthetic tastes change, older plants fade out (most perennials live less than 7-10 years), bushes get old and woody. Or perhaps you saw a garden that inspired you and you want "that" look.  I can help remove and add plants to make your garden feel anew.    

Vegetable/Herb Gardens

Do you want fresh vegetables in your backyard but don't have the time to care for them?  Having fresh herbs and produce taste even better when they are just outside your back door and all you have to do is walk a few steps to pick them. A few raised beds or pots are an easy way to add "garden space" too; ask how I can help get you set up this season.  

Garden Maps and Maintenance Plans

If you have recently moved to a new property and simply don't know where to start in your yard or want to get more familiar with your land, I can create a plant map of your yard. These include the plant names and will have a monthly gardening care calendar to guide you along the way. A one time investment that can give you the confidence you are putting your plants and beds in a position to thrive.

Unfortunately, I do not mow lawns so please do not ask to tack on that request.  I will do small shrub and tree trimming on a case by case basis (no limbs over 4" in diameter).  Please reach out for additional details or clarification.

Scheduling and Pricing

 

PRICING

  • FREE Meet and Greets (15-30 minutes) to go over potential projects or regular service agreements. 

  • Gardening Service is $50/hr, timed at 15 min increments, and include labor only (fertilizer, soil amendments, and pest control treatments can be provided by the customer or I can supply at a low cost)  No minimum # of hours or # of visits required.​​​

SCHEDULING

  • Email or Call/Text to schedule a Meet and Greet appointment- evenings and weekends are okay.  Initial meeting will be in person onsite, but after that, clients do not have to be home for scheduled services.        ​

  • If you schedule regular maintenance, we will discuss and estimate how many hours per week, bi-weekly, or monthly are needed to maintain gardens to your liking while fitting your budget.  This is a collaborative process and may be fluid throughout the season depending on your garden's needs.
